Post Premiere Questionnaires.

1. How old are you? We asled this question to see the age range of our audience.

2. Are you? We thought it was important to put this question in asking about their gender as we also wanted to see who we were targeting gender wise.

3. How many times do you go to the cinema? We thought that it was necessary to ask this question as it gave us an idea on whether they enjoyed watching films or not.

4. What kind of films do you like? We decided that we needed to find out whether this film genre was for this audience, if they didn't enjoy this genre then we can take their answers to the rest of the questionnaire with 'a pinch of salt'.

5. How important are the credits in a film opening? We wanted to know whether our audience took any notice of the credits that appeared during our film opening.

6. How important is the introduction of the characters in a film opening? We wanted to know whether our audience were interested in the introduction of the characters in the film opening.

7. How effective do you think the music was in the film opening you have just viewed? We wanted to find out whether the music we had chosen was suitable for the plot and also if it had an effect on the audiences' viewing.

• 'it had built up a sad and narrative atmosphere'
• 'set the tone for the film, helped us to understand characters feelings'
• 'because it reflects the context and mood of the scene'

• 'creates the mood'

8. Did you understand the Story line? We wanted to find out whether our story line was clear and understandable.

9. How would you rate this film opening? We were curious on how the film opening looked to an outside viewer, someone that had not seen it develop over time.
